The Swim
The Swim is a 1/2 mile clockwise loop around beautiful Randolph Lake. There will be 4 waves, sent 5 minutes apart. The start is "in-water" - stronger swimmers can jump in from a dock and warm up in between waves, weaker swimmers can wait on the dock until their wave starts. This is a deep quarry lake, so water temperatures
fluctuate, but expect it to be around 70 degrees. Wetsuits are permitted.
The Bike
The bike is a 16.4 mile rolling course that takes you through the countryside of Randolph and Chester Townships. Click HERE to follow the route in Google Maps - this is a great way for you to get acquainted with the course. You can drag and zoom the maps to follow the route, and can even turn the map into a satellite photo. If you like, you can also see mile markers and an elevation profile. It's really cool, hope you enjoy it...
